Jaipur : The 11th annual photo exhibition of Jaipur Photographer’s Club (JPC) was inaugurated at the Chaturdik Art Gallery of Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK) on Thursday evening. The exhibition was inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, Chief Commercial Manager (CCM) North Western Railway, Govt of India, IRTS, Mr Vivek Rawat.
On this occasion, renowned Jeweller and Senior Photographer, Mr Sudhir Kasliwal; International Travel Writer, Ms Dharmendar Kanwar; Freelance Photographer and Mentor, Mr Umesh Gogna and Principal, Subodh Public School, Ms Kamal Jeet Yadav were present as Guest of Honour. Founder of Jaipur Photographers’ Club, Mr Anil Khubani, Mr Ram Chand Khubani, Nakul Khanchhal, Pankaj Mandowara, Sher Bahadur Singh, Khushiram Pandey, Gaurav Agrawal welcomed the guests with mementos.
Under “The Shooting Stars of JPC”, coffee table books - "Purvottar Ka Safar” by Anil Khubani, Foreword by Ms Dharmendar Kanwar; “Spitified” by Ajay Nair, Shibu Nair and Pavensh Arora were released. JPC Calendar for the year 2024, themed, “Landscapes of India” and the Look Book of the Exhibition 2023 were also released during the exhibition.
Chief Guest, Mr Vivek Rawat and all the other guests visited the exhibition and appreciated the vision and skills of the participants. Mr Rawat said that every picture displayed here is telling its own story. Photographers have beautifully captured the moments of their life on camera, which clearly shows their passion for photography. He further said that such events by the Jaipur Photographers’ Club are a good effort to bring artists not only from the country but from all over the world to one platform. This also promotes exchange of art and creativity, he said.
Founder, Jaipur Photographers’ Club, Mr Anil Khubani said that this exhibition is not just a showcase of photographs, but a celebration of art, creativity and the shared passion of capturing the wonderful moments of life through the lens. He informed that 112 participants of different age groups from 6 countries, 24 states and 71 cities are taking part in this exhibition. A total of 172 photographs are being showcased. Visitors will get to see photos based on a variety of themes in the exhibition including Landscapes, Street, Wildlife, Star Trails, Long Exposure, Still Life, Portraits, Fashion, Macro and much more. The closing ceremony of the exhibition will be held on 24 December and the timings of exhibition will be from 10.30 am to 7 pm.
